PPS: Hat's off to the Reaper development team - this is a great piece of coding!!! 'Usually keep aay from these but it seems Reaper has a cool community. I'm suspecting I'm missing something obviously simple - but obviously just can't identify the 'obvious'.Īdditional - What's a quick fix in Reaper to better latency? I've got an i7 processor with 12 Gig ram - was expecting better performance.
I'm usually pretty good at figuring it all out but have to say this one has me stumped! or help in any other way? Point me somewhere? I know, I know it's the mapping.Ĭan anyone offer a step by step tut. *NOTE* Switching the trigger cables from the Kick to Snare input at the Yamaha's brain resolves the Snare problem and that could tell you something - however, my own brain's too tired to figure it out. Kick got straightened out but other triggers got mucked. Even copied the text fom an Addictive Drums for the DTXpress that was posted. Loaded, reloaded, saved, re-started Reaper, nothing works. I've loaded every kit, the JS Plug IS before EZ drummer, yet I can't solve the issue.
Ezdrummer midi notes for reaper windows 7#
I've downloaded all the maps posted, and finally figured out on Windows 7 machine where they go (duh -originally had them in the wrong ix-keymaps folder before) - And I can now see/load the maps using JS Midi_KeyMap. Otherwise, other triggers seem okay in executing other samples (kit parts). Problem - can't properly map DTXplorer kit to respond properly.Īll seems right except Kick executes the Snare, Snare executes a cymbal (though it changes a bit map to map - but none work effectively). (And I know better than to even open up the midi console in Audition).
(Even PM'ed one member pleading for help). The drums are a new addition I haven't tried this yet in Cakewalk Sonar 6, from which I've defected. 'Newbie to Reaper here, having difficulties and have scanned thread upon thread on the issue.
